Web Design for Tradesmen

100+ 5 star reviews20 years in the game
Trade websites from £499, including quote forms, a gallery and local SEO

I've built sites for builders, plumbers, sparkies, joiners, plasterers and landscapers. Tradespeople are often let down by web companies and lead generation sites. I do it differently with a fixed price, a fast build and a site designed to make your phone ring. My work is backed by 100+ 5 star reviews.

I reply the same day, 7 days a week. Prefer a form? Fill it out here. For fixed prices, see the website bundles.

As a tradesman, I've used a lot of website developers over the years. They promise you the moon and stars and do not deliver half of what they say. However, I have finally found one who not only sticks to his word, but far exceeds all expectations.

Why tradesmen & home services need a proper website

Word of mouth doesn't scale

Recommendations are gold, but they cap your pipeline. A site that ranks locally brings work that personal recommendations cannot reach.

Lead generation sites sell you scraps

Paying for enquiries shared with three rivals is renting your pipeline. Your own ranking site means you own it.

You quote at night, not only during office hours

Enquiry forms, photo uploads and WhatsApp buttons mean jobs land in your pocket while you're on the tools.

What your site gets

Quote request forms with photo upload
Job galleries that prove your workmanship
A page for every trade service to support stronger Google visibility
Useful pages for the towns you cover
Reviews from Google, Facebook & Trustpilot
Tap to call and WhatsApp everywhere

What a tradesman website needs before it can rank and convert

A strong tradesman website makes the trade, service area, evidence and quote route obvious. The goal is not a bigger brochure; it is a set of useful pages that answer real local searches and make the next action feel easy.

One page per valuable service

Builders, plumbers, electricians, joiners and plasterers usually need separate pages for the work they most want to win, with photos and FAQs that match the service.

Proof close to the enquiry

Reviews, accreditations, insurance signals and recent project photos should appear where people decide whether to call, not hidden on a single testimonials page.

Town pages with substance

If you cover several towns, area pages should explain genuine coverage, common work and local examples rather than changing only the place name.

Fast photo led quoting

A useful trade quote form asks for the job type, location, timescale and images so the first reply is better than a vague price exchange.

Useful routes beyond a brochure site

Ecommerce and direct payments

Add products, deposits or secure payment steps when they remove genuine friction from the customer journey.

Explore ecommerce development

Bookings and operational software

Bring availability, reminders, customer records and staff actions together when separate tools create avoidable admin.

Explore apps and custom systems

Support for your location

Browse the complete directory of areas served when the project needs web, ecommerce, app, software, SEO or booking system help tailored to that place.

Roofers

You can't answer the phone when you're up a ladder, so your website has to sell the job for you. I build roofing websites that show your best work, build trust before the first meeting and turn urgent searches after storm damage into booked quotes.

Driveway & Paving Companies

A block paved driveway is a major purchase, so homeowners research carefully before they let anyone dig up their front garden. Your website needs to prove quality with photos, reviews and professionalism. I've looked after paving company websites for years and know what makes a homeowner pick up the phone.

Restaurants, Bistros & Takeaways

People eat with their eyes and check your website before they book a table. I build restaurant and takeaway sites that make food look irresistible, put the menu one tap away and stop you paying 30% commission to delivery apps for customers who were already yours.

Straight answers

How much does a tradesman website cost?

A complete trade site with five pages is a single payment of £499, including quote forms, a gallery, hosting, email and security. A site with ten pages, including a page for every service and town, is £749 and has more opportunities to rank.

Will it actually get me work?

That's the only point of it. Every trade site I build is structured around local searches ('electrician in Preston'), fast quote forms and trust signals. If you want to dominate your area, add the SEO & Growth plan.

I'm useless with computers. Is that a problem?

Not remotely. You WhatsApp me photos and job details, and I do everything else. Most of my trade clients never touch the site because that is what the Care Plan is for.

Which pages should a tradesman website have?

At minimum, it needs a homepage, service pages, proof or gallery, areas covered and contact. The best structure depends on the trade: a plumber may need emergency and boiler pages, while a builder may need extensions, renovations and project galleries.

Can customers send job photos through the website?

Yes. Photo upload is one of the most useful features for trades because it lets you judge urgency, materials and access before wasting time on an enquiry that is not a good fit.
